Are you saying that is doesn't?

Are you saying that there isn't disputes or relationship issues that are dealt with in the local mosque by the local imman. If you are that is very naive.

If he is going to say this type of thing, he needs to back it up with evidence.

    Not just hearsay and conjecture.

Or "The Dogs in the street know" type of evidence.

RTE are too scared to do any channel 4 type under cover programs in the mosque. It would be fairly easy to set up a dispute and led the imman mediate it under sharia

Well, for a start, he believes there should be visible armed police (sic) outside the Dáil. Like so many far-right cranks, he seems to be absolutely gagging for a terrorist attack.

Yeh that’s just crazy talk because no other country in the world would protect their parliament with armed police.

    It’s almost like fascism, right?

is the Islamic population in Ireland at 100000 yet?

Sharia law definitely de facto operates in some civil law cases in Britain, although of course it can’t override secular law, but where people can come to some agreements acceptable to the law it does happen and is documented.

It’s hardly crazy to think it would happen here.

It would be foolish to think something so common in every islamic community is not done here.

What exactly would that prove? Surely there isn;t an issue if two people decide to settle their dispute by a certain set of rules. The issue arises when it is forced on them.

It would stop all the leftie loons scoffing at the people who logically say it happens in Ireland

Why couldn't you just give the full information? SO LAZY!! Not everyone wants to click on a link. Even a decent description of what the story was would be nice...

I hope your meringues fall flat! And that they don't taste that nice...

    Well past it.

At 100,000,000 now. Tommo Robinson tweeted about it the other day.

Can always spot the lefties who would rather take sides of terrorists over your family just to be pc.

    Horrible existence.

The Leftie "Loons" would just say "So What" if it were proven that Sharia was being practised in Ireland

At very least he's trying to stand for something. Sure beats keeping the seat warm until the next mouthpiece comes along to carry on the FF-FG charade.

I remember a certain little country where up until about 30/40 years ago you couldn't criticise a certain religon in public without being villified. That really worked out well.

If he wishes to criticise the customs and practices of a religon he should be allowed to do so. We spent enough time in this country whereby people were afraid to open their mouth and disagree with the Catholic church. No other religon should be allowed to become the "new" Catholic church with respect to being exmpt from criticism.

Obviously, downright abuse and or/incitement does not count as valid criticism.

Personally I don't buy into the all Muslims are terrorists in disguise paranoia that seems to be gripping the world.

However I should be allowed to say that I believe that Islam is as much a load of crap as Catholicism or any other organised religon if that is what I believe.

But you think there should be a visible armed Garda presence on Kildare Street. Who's the real hysterical snowflake here? Are those my feet?

I may not see the need for that right now but the other stuff he raised is correct.

If what he is saying is meant to be controversial then I despair for our country and the lefties are running the show. We are a very soft target at present.

Whilst he is correct that there isn't overt armed presence on the street, even a cursory look will show anyone armed military police inside gates and armed patrols in the grounds. It's been sufficient so far - long may that continue

The “Left” that people here keep referring to is a fairly transparent cover for the socialists who have been doing stonkingly well in the last few years as the people move away from worshipping God and , in their inbuilt need to worship something, decide to worship the State instead.
The Socialists decided to “go” with Islamists of all degrees of severity as they share a common enemy , capitalist imperialistic America.
Like so much else with Socialism this involves huge amounts of delusion (ignore how women are subjugated ignore the persecution of homosexuals ignore ignore ignore the terrorist attacks that target children).
You only have to glance at the Lefts comical reaction to the very justified alarm at Ibrahim Halawi’s very obvious evasive somewhat vague responses to Tubridys cringeworthy lukewarm pining on Friday night.
    Oh the howls of outrage!
But like every Socialist experiment/project since the start of tim it’s doomed to failure.
The only problem is that will be no consolation if there have been some violent incidents in the meantime.

Excellent post. The left are so obsessed with power they are happy to do a deal with anyone to push their aims.
