    Hi,

    Please help me this is wrecking my head! I have searched endlessly and can't get a simple answer. Can someone please in really simple English explain this
    2 factor Anova - Model for the Response in a Two-Factor Experiment
    Yijk = µ + αi + βj +ηij + εijk

    I really just need Yijk. Can you explain each letter in simple terms??? What does the Y, I, J and K mean???? What does the kth instance mean??

    I really appreciate the whole thing explained in really really simple and easy to understand terms,

    please help,:confused::confused::confused:
    Thanks,

    Slick.

    For example this is what I'm saying is it right -
    Yijk is the distance in meters the ball travelled (i) and ball type (j) on the kth occasion.
    That's what I'm saying but I'm not sure what it means?
    what is (i) (j) and the kth occasion?????

    this is really wrecking my head

    does anybody know the answer???

    thanks again,
    Slick
