Help! I've got no heat or hot water, I don't know anything about the heating system (just bought the appartment).
I've got the boiler control on "constant on" and I can't hear it firing. There's no immersion but in the hot press there's a pressure gauge that shows 1.2 bars.
    Any idea?

Is there power getting to the boiler (there seems to be no lights on the boiler itself from the pictures - check the trip-switch)

Is the gas turned on. If on a top-up card is there money on the card. If on a top-up card & after topping up the card with money you might need to do a reset on the boiler.

Is there also a pressure gauge on the boiler itself or only in the hot press

    Hi,
There is power, the led indicator is on. Also no issue with gas supply getting cut off, my bills are paid.
I took another look this morning and found a pressure gauge on the boiler itself, it's at 1. I'm guessing that's too low and tripped the ignition?
No idea how to fix the pressure :(

One bar is enough pressure for the boiler to fire so that is not the issue.
You will need an RGI to take a look at it.
What area are you in ?someone here might service that area.
