Yes, I used my Irish credit card, no difficulty at all. I thought the transaction might not go through but was surprised to find that the phone had shipped from Google today. I ordered on the 22nd, and expected shipping was the 31st but it went out today. Now I'm just worried about the likely huge customs fee I'll have to pay to get the parcel released.

That's definitely good to know that there's another alternative to get items. I had tried ordering the live case but everytime I tried to get to the screen to select which case, I it automatically routed me back to the Irish homepage. Has anyone experienced this? Only way I could get around this is by using a vpn.

Ps, I would definitely be interested to hear what kind of charges may happen with customs.

An arm and a leg:D.

I got a 55Eur charge from UPS for a delivery from the US (a pair of trousers that were 170 USD, although they were marked with a value off 100USD on the receipt). Different customs % apply to different items though. Also, got an email from AddressPal saying that items were being delayed by customs as packages arent coming with invoices to comply with customs regulations.

Let us know how much you get charged anyway and if you get delayed? Might order using AddressPals US address soon.

Yeah noticed that, but I was more interested in the “normal“ cases which I was able to order.

Got a dispatch email *from* grand canal dock *to* parcel motel :rolleyes: I could probably have walked around the corner and stopped the dhl van.

Completely normal for the SD835. It's a decent chip. If you're watching vids you also see the benefit of amoled.

So I picked up my pixel 2 yesterday. I have a 5x currently. It's by far the best phone I have used/seen. Its amazing how fluid it is when using the phone no lag whatsoever. Still getting to grips with it but definitely very impressed.
