Personally no however it's not uncommon for COE beans to sell for this or even more. There's obviously a market there.

I've had an espresso in 3fe of a really expensive bean, was really tasty but I'd rather 2-3 bags of really good beans than one of these. It's a bit like wine, a bottle of wine that costs €10 might be twice as good as €5, but spending €20 won't double the quality. And after that going to €50 or €60 won't even double that.

Above that its probably more about supply and demand, like there are only 100 bottles of this stuff so they are really expensive. I think its the same with coffee, the beans will be good but not 3 times as good as your standard single origin beans from the same roaster.

Beans like that are best bought for a cupping session or a group of nerds just getting together imho.

Almost pulled the trigger with a £5 bag to offset the price but decided to leave it. Now what beans to get(all my coffee comes from baililes)
