    Hi guys,

Anybody ever hear of this insulation before?
In a world where insulation prices are through he roof and we have to put 175mm on the floor before screed, I'm considering this stuff.

    Help appreciated.

its an extruded polystyrene..... any reason you wouldnt use more common brands? its seems similar to kingspan styrozone 300

are you expecting heavy loading on the floor?

I had a quick look and my only concern is no clear IAB or BBA certification.

I've never heard it but I looked up the thermal transmittance values and they are not on a par with PIR so to achieve the same U-Value you will need thicker amounts of this stuff.

If you plan to install the same thickness your u-value will not be as good so you need to check with the person doing your DEAP calculation if it will work.

As I said - I've never heard of the stuff before so I cannot speak for quality, certification, safety or anything like that.
