    Hi everyone,

I'm drawing a blank so thought I'd ask here.

As an example say abortion was legal here up to 12 weeks, If someone was to say that abortion is legal up to the full term of pregnancy, what is the name for that false information if it was given intentionally?

    Thanks

Worth pointing out that misrepresentation and negligent misstatement aren't confined to erroneous statements about the law. You can misrepresent or negligently mistate anything.
