    Probably haven't stopped the kill rate if it was a task by the way. There was close to an hour between her 'task' being completed and her dying. If it was a task she'd surely have chosen someone quickly, especially since she knew she was dying soon thanks to you.

    That's true, but then that makes even less sense for it to be a task. Complete the task, have people clamouring for you to be killed and yet you don't convert someone.

    Anyway, I've derailed it too much with this task/no task business. If we find another song by someone who had songs in Buffy then we'll have a good idea that it's a task.
