Facebook Deletion

I noticed one of my friends wasn’t coming up under my fb feed. So I checked and he had deleted me. What I found ironic was I messaged him subsequently. He said he was cutting down his fb friends list. When I suggested he be circumspect going forward as to who he added he took it personally yet expected those he chopped not to do likewise!

Of course he is entitled to add and delete as he sees fit but my advice was well meant and his testy reply proved my point that people have feelings. He just didn’t seem capable of understanding that he could hurt people’s feelings by what he did. Hopefully he does now! I have no wish to reconnect with him and was merely checking was he ok when I messaged him.

I wouldn't notice if someone were to delete me from Facebook and I probably wouldn't care either. More important things to be worrying about.. like.. I don't know .. anything else.

OP it's easy to avoid issues like this on both sides - just delete the entire account.

Have you any 'real' friends? Concentrate on them. And do so in the real world. Facebook 'friend'? Bah!

I remember when we used to just play with pogs and conkers.

Walk up to a group of lads playing football:

    "Any games?"

"Don't know, it's not my ball."

I miss the simple logic of simpler times.

Adults who are hurt by who they are or aren’t friends with on Facebook need to have a serious look at how they view their self worth.

I'd probably delete someone who threw the word 'circumspect' into a sentence willy nilly too.

I have a rule in life that if you are in anyway a cnut or burn the ear off of me

    1. Do not add
    2. Do not accept friend requests
    3. Delete from Facebook

This whole problem stems from Facebook.

Delete Facebook and they all go away....
