In typical fashion, the show plods along for most of the season but the final two episodes were excellent.

They've confirmed season 4 will be the last.

Given the reference in Rogue one to Captain Syndulla at the base on Yavin, I'm going to assume that we will see the bridge between Rebels and Rogue One next season come to fruition, although in what form, I'm not sure.

We know everyone who appears in Rogue One, so it'll have to be a different battle, but presumably one that's important enough to the rebellion to give them a send off.

To be fair

I would have thought it was crap if Thrawn hadn't pulled off a master plan like that. I'd heard so much but until now we've only seen bits and pieces.

So that's the mid season point. I'd say the return will be good too!

I didn't get the feels from Kanans death that they seem to have been pushing. If anything i'm moreso empathising with the sense of loss the others are feeling.

Said it before but there’s far too much of filonis real world kinks bleeding in here. It’s gotten silly.

the wolves who are magically force sensitive and. Can. Talk.

It’s jarring and takes you out of the story and doesn’t actually fit within Star Wars for me.

I know he’s working on the new animated series. I hope he’s really reigned in this sorta stuff. It’s just silly.

It’s huge payoffs like this that I’d love to show people who don’t have faith in the storygroup or what LFL are doing and where they’re going. Especially in relation to the new films and series coming.
Matter of time before filoni gets to helm a film or produce a live action series.
