Would you have needed to play DOS1 to enjoy this?

Finished this along with playing bouts of Cities. Started Hotline Miami this morning and am downloading Doom. Should be fun

Back playing star dew valley. Ridiculous amount of stuff to get involved in. That community centre will never get seeing to this rate.

I can't stop playing Factorio. Have started getting trains set up and I really need to get my blue science going now to progress, but it's going to involve rearranging basically mt entire factory, alas.

Think Stardew Valley will be next. I'm really enjoying these sort of games recently rather than massive budget AAA stuff.

Everspace, I suppose it's a bit like FTL but you actually get to fly the spaceship. It's fun to keep dying and slowly upgrade your ship.

I love FTL but have never been interested in flight sims... I might have to check it out

X-Com WOTC is breaking my heart and soul.

They've upped the difficulty, and i love it.

Just finished up Mirrors Edge:Catalyst. At the end I could not be arsed to go back and finish off all the side missions and collectables. had enough of it.
    Now for Titanfall 2

Elex. There are a few old reliables with Piranha Bytes games. Reviews will be lukewarm to bad, the game itself will have below par animations and dialog, good skill based combat that they don't explain properly so everybody moans about it and fantastic world building/exploration. I am enjoying it immensely. Risen 3 had far too easy combat so I was worried about combat here but I needn't have. Massive world with very tough combat and character progression that really matters. Will probably be my game of the year.

Day of Infamy ...it's basically Day of Defeat source 2 (or 3 if you played the original before the source engine).

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus its amazballs

it was pretty good for me too, but i kept getting bsod's, so i refunded it.

It's not like i did not meet the minimum system reqs either, apparently there's an issue with nvidia cards (using a 1070 incase you were wondering)

Think i'm just gonna buy CODWWII with the refund to get my nazi killing fps fix next week :/

Shame too, because i was enjoying it - the opening 20 minutes or so, and the cruelty in that scene
    with caroline
is something you rarely see in games at all.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. I'm quite enjoying it. On another website I frequent a guy was having issues with his PC and just happened to be playing this game while showing the issue and I asked him what game it was as it looked good. So ended up buying it.

I'm using a 1080ti, and I've had no problems only one where because I have two screens I get mouse movement in the one not playing the game.

Hotline Miami. Has to be the world's quickest turnaround from "hey, don't think this is my kinda game" to "**** these panthers."

There is a hot fix out for Nvidia cards

I presume it will help fix your issue?

gave up on it after 2 hours or so of bluescreening right out of the game and literally knocking my machine into a hard reset.

I did get to play a bit, but i've refunded it already, thanks anyway :)

    Finished Doom. Loved it.

Was looking at my Steam library and nothing stands out. Decided to reinstall Overwatch. Will play until something else comes along, or I rage quit again. Whichever comes first.

I had Space Hulk: Deathwing half finished for months so I decided to go back to it.

Yeah.. it's not fantastic, but it's got the aesthetic absolutely nailed. It gets a bit repetetive. There just isn't enough game to sustain it as an experience.

Terminators aren't a great choice to base a game off. Too slow, too limited in loadouts..
The developers are releasing some free content - a single player randomised version and some extra content is being added to the multi-player. Nice of them. There's some sort of enhanced customisation or levelling up. Not sure about the details but I'm not really arsed about multiplayer.

I'll probably finish it and then it's on to DOOM.

Mostly, playing it just makes me want more 40k shooters.

I feel like a solid 3rd/1st person Space Marine RPG would be an easy win.
It has such well defined paths for loot, character progression, all the art is there already.

Just do it you absolute bastards!:(

WH40K: Space Marine was a fantastic game, and i really wish they'd do a sequel.

It's about the only 40K game that has been any good though, and devs seem to really struggle to get it right. The only exception is Gothic Armada, which is good so god dman hard i could never get past the first 2 hours or so.

Dawn of War 1 and 2
if you want to go old school - Chaos Gate. Music was epic!

if you want to go really really old school you could also include Space Crusade & Space Hulk.

Well yeah, obviously i meant DOW 1 and 2 as well. I didn't think i needed to mention them (mainly because i totally forgot about them :P)

Abandonware links for the classics mentioned.

    Chaos Gate

    Space Crusade

    Space Hulk

You can also buy Chaos Gate on GOG for $9.99
    Chaos Gate is basically a 40K X-Com.

I've put an unholy amount of time into the Dawn of War games.

Except DOW 3 because that's just a pile of muck.
