The JFK files were scheduled to release October 26. The President has a right to refuse for national security reasons. Some files got released a few months back. Previously unknown information Lee Harvey Oswald, it claimed, met the Russian Head of KGB area for Sabotage and Assassination, in Mexico, 8 weeks prior to killing of John F Kennedy. This could be a Soviet plot to kill the President or just odd meeting that nobody knows what got discussed?

They are scheduled for release but it is the president who can decide to keep classified material classified if the president so wishes.

If it's true that the Soviets were involved in his assassination, would be kinda ironic. No doubt the media will note that they went from killing US Presidents to electing them...

It is not a diversion tactic as previously mentioned, the files were due to be released BUT the President could have withheld them just like Obama, Bush and Clinton before him.

I don't think we will ever know the full truth....anything concrete would have been destroyed years ago. One smoking gun is Lee Harvey's Tax returns...still withheld under the "national security" clause.

I have recently begun studying the Bobby Kennedy assassination which is even more bizarre.

If that is true, it would be the single biggest indicator of who was involved in pulling the strings behind Kennedy's assassination.

If the head of KGB active measures is meeting someone, it isn't to to discuss poetry.

JFK died before I was born, so although I studied him as a historical character, can't say I am that bothered by whatever is revealed over 50 years after his death

And I suppose that's the point, what would have been a massive scandal and the source of much media hype and debate when revealed will cause barely a ripple today

The interesting thing to consider is what's going on in recent years that is quashed and hidden, stuff that we would be outraged about but we are kept in the dark about.....but that way lies tin foil hats
