    Hey
I have a oneplus 5 and Iwas wondering can you or how do you get notification  numbers on your apps??

Nova Launcher + TeslaUnread is one way to do it.

You will need to install and use a different launcher. Myself I use lawnchair, which is a modified version of the Google Pixel launcher

I also have Lawnchair but haven't figured out how to get app notification numbers working. Would you mind giving me a steer?

I've just realised how horrific the panorama function in the stock camera is. Don't know how I haven't noticed it before. In fact, I thought that I'd taken a few that weren't bad but, in the last few days, they've been beyond useless

I use the Google StreetView app. Much better stitching on the panoramas.

Asfaik it only show a dot on an icon when theres new notifications For that app.

    It doesnt actually show numbers.

    Try rebooting the phone.

App settings> UI> notification badges and preview. You need to enable it. As the previous poster says it's just a dot not a number

    Has anyone bought from Aliexpress?
    Would you recommend it?

    Hi guys,

Could anyone recommend where to get the best value on one of these? Or is the only option to buy through the website?

Why would you buy from a third party? Buy from the manufacturer and have your warranty with them.

Have it, with the official case, apart from the gold slider button, you wouldn't know. I actually like the different colour buttons tbh

They can just happen anyway - usually part of some call-back scam. Take no notice of them. Got a few about a month ago but nothing since. Just never ring back the number!!! :)

I avoid as usual BUT myself and herself have received overseas calls in the past week, both of us on new 5's. Too much of a coincidence for me......

What country code? You both got called from the same number?

Me and my Mrs have both had calls from 00212 numbers this last week. Neither of us are have a OP5, and we're on different networks to each other.

It's nothing to do with your phone, it's happening to a lot of people - See the Talk To forums here, just an ongoing scam

There's a ton of premium number call back scams going on, see http://www.breakingnews.ie/ireland/heres-why-you-should-ignore-a-missed-call-from-a-231-number-810364.html

These guys just buy lists of phone numbers and feed them into automated outbound IVR's who hang up after 2 rings knowing a certain % of people will call back and thus generate income for them.

If you don't recognise the number ignore the temptation to call back. If it's really someone trying to get hold of you they'll either leave a voicemail or call again.

Got a call today from a 00 269 number. Answered before I realised the number. Nothing on the other end. Odd.

It's not odd at all unfortunately, it's exactly how the scam is supposed to work. There's no one on the other end if you are quick enough to answer as the whole premise of the scam is that they make an automated outbound call, only let it ring once or twice and then terminate the call so there is a "missed call" message on your phone. They only make money when you call back the number as it is a premium rate number. They make no money if you answer the call hence there is no one on the other end.
