Stumbled upon a good comedy series Norsemen

Kind of a comedy version of vikings... Touch of the Monty pythons about it. Going on about mundane day to day issues in a viking village in the 9th century. It's a Norwegian production that was filmed in both Norwegian and English. Only 6 episodes. Season two has been filmed.

Just finished Me and Earl and the Dying Girl. Thought it was fantastic. In floods of tears though.

I’m on episode 5 of Mindhunter and still waiting for something to actually happen. Am I alone?

Depends on what you're waiting to happen. I think the show builds very steadily and has breakthrough moments, I've found it very enjoyable so far in anyway.

Also, the soundtrack for Mindhunter has been ace.

I'm really enjoying Mindhunter. It's a slowburner, sure, but it is an excellent show.

What We Did On Our Holiday added today. From the people who made Outnumbered for BBC. Same kind of humour with some beautiful Scottish scenery thrown in.
David Tennant and Rosamund Pike are a separated couple, who haven't told their extended families, and they take their kids up to Scotland for his father's birthday party and pretend they're still a couple. Something else happens when they're there but I won't give it away.
I enjoyed it a lot and as I said quite similar in humour to Outnumbered, so if you liked that it's worth a look.

Its the modern thing to do, every show now has people who think its the best TV show ever.

The whole point of mindhunter is to show the audience the foundations of the behavioural science unit and how the current system of profiling killers was founded. It's bound to go slowly in that aspect. Most on here complaining are expecting another criminal minds where each case is nicely tucked away in one episode...

Nobody's declared it the best TV show ever. Just because you mightn't enjoy a show doesn't mean everyone else is lying when they say they're enjoying it.

Just started Mindhunter last night, only two episodes in and its been slow but I'm enjoying it!

Finished Suburra - Blood On Rome and I loved it. One of the best I've seen in awhile. Italian language is great to listen to (which is something I found with Spanish and Narco's)

Agreed, Suburra - Blood on Rome is brilliant, now on to Mindhunter!

Finished the last episode of Mindhunter. An excellent ending, I must say.

The 20 fastest binged shows with in 24 hours on Netflix US so I wouldn't be surprised if it similar here.

The term “Binge-racers” applies to people who smash through an entire series within 24 hours of it appearing on the service. Apparently 8.4 million subscribers like to binge-race their shows, most of whom live in Canada. Netflix is at pains to point out that the speed at which a series is consumed bears little correlation with its overall viewing figures, but it has listed the top 20 most binge-raced shows in the US nonetheless.
    1. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life

    2. Fuller House

    3. The Ranch

    4. Marvel’s The Defenders

    5. The Seven Deadly Sins

    6. Trailer Park Boys

    7. Santa Clarita Diet

    8. F is for Family

    9. Orange is the New Black

    10. Stranger Things

    11. Friends from College

    12. Grace and Frankie

    13. Wet Hot American Summer

    14. Atypical

    15. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

    16. House of Cards

    17. Master of None

    18. Luther

    19. GLOW

    20. Arrested Development

Anyone else finding Star Trek Discovery a bit tedious and slow? Watched 2 episodes and it's okay, but.. not sure.

Same, the lighting is very dark too.

Stranger, Korean crime drama, good pace for a korean drama. Bae Doona(The Host, Cloud Atlas, Sense 8) is one of the leads. The story revolves around a coolheaded prosecutor who lacks emotions and empathy, teams up with a passionate and warm-hearted female detective(Bae Doona) to uncover rampant corruption and the truth behind a serial murder case. Kind of like the Bridge with the interactions of the two leads, one cold the other warm.
