11 Vauxall Insignia strange noise

Looking for some ideas on a noise that is in car.Baught car recently and the noise is worse.When I baught it first I only heard it the odd time now I hear it quiet a lot but only at low speeds.Its difficult to describe it but it sound like a crunching noise .I'm not sure but I think it is coming but but it sounds like it is coming from floor around the pedals.Any ideas?

Constant or only when clutching/braking or pressing a pedal?

So noise is worse now than when you bought car?
Did you buy from a dealer?
Did you get warranty with the car?
Did you bring it back to dealer?
Did you have a mechanic listen/look at it?

Not yet .I wanted to have some idea of what I was talking about before briniging it to mechanic.

Baught it private jl.Haven't had anyone look at it yet.Just wanted to see if there was a common fault before bringing to garage

Nothing when clutching .Seems to stop when press brake .Very regular at a low speed but when I get out on open road it stops.
