    Do you trust the company?

Do you have their full contact details?

    Did you send cash?

This would appear to be a the "company" problem - not an An Post problem.

Theres a very high probability you arent going to see any of that cash again. Either the posties copped on theres cash in it (which btw isnt that uncommon - in 2002 over two dozen postal workers were sacked because of mail fraud/mail theft) or else the company that send you sent it to are a touch economical with the truth.
Either way, its absolutely INSANE to send any cash through the Post if you dont register it. It could easily have gotten lost in the post.

I had typed up a massive reply to this detailing every reason for my loathing of An Póst when this RPC Windows restart thing came up and knocked meh off.

On a side note, several people with Windows XP have been getting forced restarts in the last half hour. Expect a diluge of complaints to Microsoft by tonight or tomorrow. It's not THAT hard to fix mind.

Anyway Gopher, long story short : An Póst are a pack of geebags, a Dublin postman has your cash and only use Registered Post or Couriers.

    Taking my fucking packages....

Well finally got my delivery. The company recieved it on Monday, meaning it took from Tueday evening to Monday morning to travel from Cavan to Dublin. You could get a letter to South Africa as quickly most probably.
BTW seeing as you are all wondering i was getting an ID from www.fluxcard.com . I tell my mate i can get him a fake ID,charge him 40 euros and take a 25 euro cut without his knowledge for something i bought for 15 euro :D

Hey,Im like the retailer,I need to make a bit of a profit out of it:DAnd besides he owed me some money-im just taking a bit of interest.

Had to laugh at the letter accompanying it telling you not to use it for illegal activities i.e underage drinking. Why the **** do they think anybody would want an authentic looking student card apart from that?

The standard post seems to be quite slow as of late. I posted something from New-Ross to Waterford (around 12 miles) on Monday morning and it didnt arrive till today. It also took 3 days for something to get from Wexford town to where I live (around 15 miles away). In the past, these would have been next day!

It took less time for me to receive orders from Hong Kong.
I've found An Post to be quite good recently tbh.

    IT WASN'T MONEY!
/me breathes shallowly while wheezing every few seconds and staring beadily at words in his head. There's also an occasional twitch.

And you were meant to be My Man on the Inside! Where's the gos like, the dirty undersides of An Póst, the inside knowledge?
    Well finally got my delivery
I still haven't got any of them...pack of geebags confiscating my wares, need a learning something proper, wasn't like this back in the day let me tell you, old Aunt Josie would have sorted them out something fierce before they could shave an otter, grumble grumble generic Back in the Day comment grumble grumble

Thank god I haven't turned bitter and twisted anyway.
