    Just been ripped off... €14.50 for Advanced Payment bull ****... I will never use them again and if a supplier uses them I won't but from them...

    Good luck finding someone who won't charge for doing a customs entry and paying out VAT and Duty on your behalf.

    Always handy to blame the carrier - but ti is the shipper who is 100% to blame as they tend to "forget" to put correct valuies on the customs documentation or put false low values.

    Customs throughout the world have copped onto this and will use reference pricing where they think propoer valuei has not been placed on documents.

    In some cases the low price is genuine and once you can show the receipt and corresponding payment on a paypal statement or card statement it will be accepted, but considering the number of itmes that arrive with a false value you can see where customs and the carriers are coming from.

    But sure its easy to blame the big bad carriers, isn't it?

    If only the poor op had realised this TWO YEARS ago when all this was going on it might have been so much help to them then.
