It’s definitely headed west anyway according to all the radars and sources.

Won’t be to bad after all, gusty winds that we see every year.

Up at 7 for work so!

Nope. It's going east again. The day off is back on. And this thread will go down in history and be quoted as the right thing to do when a storm is coming.

Not happy that is headed back eastwards, thanking your post because some people seem to think its badass not to care about possible extreme and dangerous weather. Its not. Its as laughable as over hysteria.

I wouldn't say that, this storm is large and the entire country is going to get a walloping - it's still the early hours, the next 12 hours will tell a tale. Please do not take this lightly just because the centre is going to be more westerly than the previous forecasting indicated.

its even further west than that

Isn't it better if it does veer west.
Who really wants to experience this type of weather.
There'll be no egg on anyone's face imo.

Hope everyone out west stays safe tomorrow and everyone east should probably go to bed as you'll look fairly silly not going in on a blustery Monday.

Was good to see the difference between scientific analysis and hysteria though.
I'll never be worried about a forecast of a bit of wind again.

Thanks to the people on here posting such very useful information, the best overall one stop place for info I've came across. Fair play lads.

I'd hold off on that sort of comment unless it turns out in 12 hours that time that this was nothing more than a few gusts.

I hope you're right - but based on what I know of storm systems, I'd say you're wrong. Tomorrow will tell a tale either way!

If a less serious hurricane happens, then good. Everyone should want egg on their face in this scenario. That's not something to be ashamed of. I'd much rather be overly cautious and preaching safety to my friends and family and proven wrong, than taking it way too lightly and caught off guard.

Yeah it's cool to experience a hurricane since we never get them, but honestly who wants it in the grand scheme of things? No need to be on the high horse m8. You're not 'winning' anything here lol

And anyway, if it changes west it could just as easily go back east. It wasn't meant to even hit properly until about what 10am tomorrow? SO judging it now is silly anyway. Take care everyone. Sorry to go off topic.

    Goodnight!
