Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Gonna craic on and organise this now.
    I'm still without power, don't know who else is, so perhaps a slight leaning towards later in the week would be best.
    Will try and give each group an even spread of Sherpa/Experienced/Newbies alike as that has previously thrown a bit of a spanner in the works.
    Obviously if plans change or people need to swap around, just throw up a post for transparency sake.

    Just did a count there and we have
    • 5 Sherpas
    • 13 Newbies
    • 10 Experienced

    So it's probably gonna be 6 -> 7 runs.
    Realistically it would be good to have 2x 2x 2x in each group in terms in of player

    Okay so as I'm down as a sherpa, I may as well try to get this kick started, anyone on tonight?

    Unless with get 2 noobs then there's not point running this tonight so we can then just hold off until tomorrow.

    Gauntlet first up :eek: followed by Dogs then Baths. My time is flex so just post up if you're interested and the latest you can start. We will try to dedicate 2hrs for this tonight and see how things go.

    Generics post above has all signups to date, it's not too late if you still want in.

    Could be done in an hour, but for a sherpa group I reckon last room at the 2 hour mark, with a few attempts to run it.

    I can't commit to any runs so not putting my name down to Sherpa or anything. Too much going on with real life ****e right now.

    If you see me online in destiny though and your short throw me an invite I'd be delighted to help. If I'm onbim on for a few hours so I won't have to leaave or anything its just I can't commit to when I'll actually be able to get on.

    Had a good run at the raid last night, got all the way up to calus and called it quits for the night before it got too late. We also managed to get the chests along the way too :D Hopefully we finish calus off tonight from about 9ish :D

    Our group got to Calus too (but didn't do the Underbelly).

    Calus was a disaster, but mainly cause it was broken last night.

    Every time we wiped it would spawn me in on my own in the Throne Room - i'd have to go to orbit to let the others spawn in then join on them again. Wiping was also made far more frequent as we kept getting pulled through the barriers on Team Suck, for no reason. We'd do all the things, get pulled forward to the next barrier, get stopped and then just wiff through it (no bumps, no jumps... just glide through it).

    Will hopefully get back to it tonight, with less glitching, to give us a proper go at it.

    That barrier thing started to happen me last week. When I got to the second last barrier each time it would just pull me through it with no real reason. Its odd but it shouldnt all of a sudden be glitched when it was fine previously.

    Big thanks to JC for his guidance during the raid (and the rest of the lads for their pointers). I have to say, it was surprisingly straightforward (probably as everyone bar me was 300+) and did each encounter after perhaps two or three wipes first time, every time;). Looking forward to smashing fish face with my shiny new rocket launcher tonight!:D

    Watched some vids on the skull room boss fight - that 2nd barrier just wasn't showing last night for some reason - anyway I have the knowledge now and looking forwards to finishing it this evening :)

    EDIT - big thanks to the team coaching us through the areas - gauntlet seemed the hardest for me.

    I feel I got away scot-ree running the gauntlet. The pleasure gardens was toughest for me. Orientation went out the window when panic ensues! Took a while to get the nack of the room. Had the map opened in front of me and once I got to grips with forest and rocks, I felt better about reaching my beast and the safe room.

    I have found since i have started playing the top part of the pleasure gardens I know my way around so much more. Part of the problem being a spore runner is that there is a good chance you are just following a person who already has an idea where they are going - so the only direction you actually need to know 90% of the time is how to get back over to Dudeeile (for example) - not how to get from Trees to midright to safe room. Very tough to oreintate yourself down there, took all of us a lot of wipes.

    Take 2 tonight will hopefully go better, think the lads understand the mechanics now as well, so should go reasonably well.

    Thanks for all the help, didn't think I would ever complete a raid.

    There is a lot of content in there that a lot of people will not experience with the 6 player/no matchmaking deterring casual/singles. Very happy to have it sorted.

    Been told that the earliest I can expect my power to be back is Friday 8pm (which I am not banking on, particularly with this 2nd "storm" inbound")
    So I might not be able to participate in this in the capacity I would have hoped.
    Probably gonna go stay with my sister for a weekend but she has a baby so talking loudly on a headset for a few hours would definitely be outstaying my welcome.
