Taxing car after VRT.

    Has things changed with how soon you can tax car online after Vrt.
    Paid the Vrt Saturday and still cant tax it online using last 6 numbers of Vin number.Any time i have done it before i could tax it the next day.

    Possibly have to wait until it is recorded as changed on there system? You could ring your local tax office & they might be able to do it over the phone.

    Since Saturday was a weekend I'd assume Tuesday would be the next "business" day.

    I'll leave it until tomorrow before i start ringing.I thought things might have changed,because it can normally be done the next day.

    Monday is the next working day so it will be processed by tomorrow, or maybe later today.

    I sorted VRT for my car last Friday evening, tried to tax it Friday night - no joy. Tried again first thing Saturday morning and it picked up my details fine.

    I'd wait until tomorrow, but I'm surprised it's not up already.
