A world without America?

Anyone ever wonder how we would fare without our big crazy loudmouth mates in the good old US of A?

When ya think about it a lot of what is wrong with society and our world these days stems from over there. There constantly up to some crazy **** and they seem to have the most extreme people when it comes to personality's and how they react to situations.

These days if there not shooting each other there offended by there own shadows !

Ya fair enough we would obviously be missing out on some great forms of entertainment over the years (Tv films sport etc) but how does everyone think the human race and society as a whole would do without them?

Even though I agree some crazy **** goes on there and as you say, very extreme, over emotional personalities, I think we in the west would still fare badly without Amerikay. However, those in other parts of the world will have a different perspective.

Anyone in the west who wants America done away with though, should abandon all forms of American product.

Thats the thing we are deeply influenced by them all over the world now so we would be missing an awful lot of things if they where to vanish off the face of the earth!

It tends to be more of a bad influence then a good one though.

The Germans has themselves beaten by advancing into Russia and Western Europe at the same time. They were stretched and broke.

Still the only country to drop a nuclear weapon on a civilian population and the war crimes they committed in Vietnam. Modern day Iraq and Afghanistan wars dont show them in a great light either. Maybe we would be better off.

More of a bad influence? Seriously? Think about all the music, films, TV shows, technology, literature etc that the us has contributed to the world. The amount of foreign aid that they pay yearly. You think the rest of the world would be better off without them?

They do a lot of good but any country with there power and population should be in fairness.

It's not really what makes them stand out to rest world though.

By not minding their own business since 1945, America has caused nothing but problems all over the world. Irish people are conditioned to think America is good but we would all be better off if they just concentrated on their own flawed country. Especially now that they are led by a petulant child.

I don't think America is totally good but not totally bad either. I'd prefer America having our back than not, even though I am opposed to many of its foreign policy operations.

Does anyone remember the talk show Jeremy Clarkson had, where he had a map of the world minus the USA in the background. And some of the low level controversy? And how that was reversed/hushed-up after 9/11? Is anyone as old as me, with memories of such unimportance?

You know what would be better though? A world without labels. No such thing as American/Mexican/Irish/Black/White/Gay/Straight... just... human. Nothing more, nothing less. Doesn't matter what you look like, what you do, who you love. Just... human. Wouldn't it be a better world? More tolerant? Less segregated? Maybe? Or do I need to go back on my meds again?

Such archaic perception of capitalism, and business entities. Corporations and companies of these sizes are not 'American'. They're international constructs that go where the money and talent is. Being American is just marketing hype for funding.
