Is that announced tomorrow or the 6th?

Tomorrow around 5pm Irish time I believe. No doubt the base model will be €800+, not shipping til late November and not even available on the Irish play store. Maybe we'll be surprised but I don't think so

I was checking the bands for LG V30(v300l) and there seems to be conflicting info on whether is has band 20 for LTE. This site says no but the wonda description says it does. I couldn't find anything official?

If you find out let me know! It's listed as having it on the site and they answered a question to confirm it also.

I emailed them about the bands and this is what I got back:
    Please see attached

    LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 13(700), 17(700), 20(800), 28(700), 38(2600)

If its not supported I'll claim through PayPal and send it back to them.

Is there even a way to check what bands your phone supports? I think there is some apps that will tell you what band you are currently using when on 4g so could do it that way?
Might be best to email LG directly and see if they can give you an official answer?

Mono speaker is pretty off putting and makes little sense.

Doesn't bother me. I won't be listening to music on loudspeaker anyway.

I'm guessing you do that a lot or do you need it for something else?

Yeah I'd listen to podcasts or music on my phone a good bit in the kitchen or while playing videogames that don't require your complete attention. Destiny 2 and podcasts go great together.

To have a partnership with someone like B&O with the phone and then just have a mono speaker on it seems really counter-intuitive.

Ya, that is true. It would have been nice to have. Had the HTC One M8 and that had nice front firing speakers.

Then again, if it sacrifices aesthetics I'll do without it. Don't like the new Pixels at all, especially the standard model.

Any ideas if an Irish network will be offering this?

AFAIK LG phones have never been available from any Irish network.

I have the v20, speakers are actually surprisingly good and clean and loud. Use it for audible occasionally out loud

I highly doubt it, I know Vodafone confirmed that they wouldn't be carrying this phone.

Looks like the V30 is gone off Wonda now. I wonder are they just sold out or is there something else going on? Have they notified you about your order?

    Might be my next phone.

I actually cancelled it today as I wanted it for holidays to NYC and it looked like it wouldn't arrive in time. Refund was processed really quickly.

I think they have a lot of uncertainty around stock as there was a long national holiday in Korea the last week. Once they have sorted that it should be back up again.

Heading to NYC the week after next. Any ideas if I could pick one of these up while I'm there?

You'll have to find somewhere selling an unlocked version and also make sure it has all the bands for Ireland
