hi everyone im thinking of changing jobs and i was looking at the price of the taxsaver train tickets to see is it worth my while
i will be travelling from tullamore to dublin
the price of an annual ticket is 3870 euro on the website https://www.taxsaver.ie/Ticket-Types/Rail-point-to-point-tickets/
i presume this price is before tax and i should pay less according to my tax and prsi is deducted

What happens is that the cost of the ticket is deducted from your gross salary and then tax, PRSI & USC is then calculated on the reduced figure.

Make sure you add your luas into the price.
Was looking at this option before for one of the children taking a college place in city centre.
