Coil building kit recommendations

Looking at getting myself a proper kit to build my coils. Thinking of going for the Coilmaster V3 diy kit.

I dont build anything fancy really but I would like to have a proper kit and tools.

Would be great to hear peoples opinions on this kit or other good options.

Im using the Coilmaster V3 diy kit myself and have zero regrets on the purchase. Everything I need in one tidy package.

My only niggle with it is the fold up scissors is a tad short for cutting cotton pads as if it were just that bit longer/bigger, it would be perfect.

i just bought a coil jig and flush cutters on fasttech. not as elaborate as above but cheaper and does the job for me.

Sorry only getting back to this. Yeah that looks the job. I have the basics but would like the jig to get the coils a bit neater.

Cant go wrong for that price. Will need a good flush cutters as well so thanks for that.

I use something similar to what chipfox has there, but I never use cutters. I just twirl the end of the wire till it snaps off

you cannot get closer to the posts. I just use scissors or a nail clippers to cut wire to length before coiling.

Nail clippers does the job nicely for me at the min.

The toe-nail ones are great

cut through any wire. But I still prefer winding the wire off, it's kind of soothing

i find myself using those flush cutters a lot, not just for coils. they're seriously quality, hard to believe they cost 2 euro.
