    Trivial Annoyance

Watching a flight go from €99 return to €127 and booking it. Only to realise less than 1 minute later, that it is €105 return on Kayak.

I know I need a haircut soon but I'm absolutely dreading the hairdresser "chat". You don't care what way I answer your questions, you don't care what I'm doing for the weekend. You're only annoying me and probably yourself too.

People can't follow HIGHLIGHTED detailed directions to where they are supposed to go.
"Oh well, it's usually upstairs" Well not today you fucking moron, read the fucking letter properly.
Then when I send out a letter with a time crossed out (and no longer visible) and a time written in pen, I get phone calls "which time am I to come at?" WELL YOU CAN'T READ ONE OF THEM SO WHAT DO YOU FUCKING THINK?!
Or "I just want to know what the other time was" WHYYYYYY???

The fact that a team member at work won't make a fcuking decision to save her life and runs everything past me, including texting me on my personal phone at 10.45pm last night with a totally mundane question that could easily have waited til this morning.

    Getting haircuts.

I'm at that point in life (and probably have been for the last 10 years or so) that I don't really bother with my hair, I keep it reasonably shortish, and let it do its own thing. Don't use gel or any product, barely brush it if ever. We get on grand with each other.

But theres always a 2/3 week period where you look at it and think "I really need to get that cut", but just couldn't be ar$ed as its just a chore!!
Then you eventually find the time to get it done, and it's still a pain in the ar$e, sitting in a chair for 20 minutes looking at your self in a mirror, making crappy small talk.

    "So, off work today?"
"Did you watch the match last night?"
"I can't believe who shot JR!"
"Do you want gel in it?"

If you saw the girl who cuts my hair you would get it cut weekly :D

When you come across older people who are new to smart phones, and they show you a 'really cool' app you should try out..

... an app you stopped using about 4/5 years ago because it was crap and there were & are much better options available.

TA'd by smelly people on the tube that I have to stand close to. Beer breath, stale fags, halitosis, general doesn't-wash must, people whose diet must consist exclusively of garlic and onions. Every. Fcuking. Day. People are so gross.

There's been a few of these TAs and I'm starting to think my hairdressers don't really like me!!
Although last time I was in they were overly sweet only because I sent a raging email over the oaf that did it. Annoyingly it's Peter Mark so they seem to have constant staff turnover and it's hard to get the same person.
But apart from that there's very little crap talk! Maybe it's because I bring 8 magazines to the table with me and then spend the whole time on my phone.

People filming other people in A and E waiting rooms. I have seen it done brazenly twice but it could be happening more since people often have their phones out and you wouldn't know. The last time it was a man with problems from a previous head injury which he was shouting about. He'd been attacked in the past. He was coming out with some awful stuff, he was shouting disgusting things to a little boy and the mother had to walk out with her child. There was this middle aged woman who was well old enough to know better, smirking and holding the phone up to video the whole thing.
I have seen a girl being filmed while doubled over with pain in the chair.
What kind of bimbo thinks these things are entertaining?

Of course everyone in the vicinity is on those videos whether they like it or not. Such a disgusting violation.

I thought you weren't allowed to have phones turned on in hospitals anyway.

(Cheap) earphones are on the way out. One earphone is gone crackly, cutting in and out, while the other works fine. The erratic quality is probably more annoying than it just not working altogether. So I've had to take to only having one earphone in.

    🤪

I had to delete a post like a ninja. It was a screenshot for the beautiful men thread and as I took it my mother text me. I didn't realise till i opened the screenshot on the post, and there it was. Thank fcuk I did!
Not being able to contain my nosiness for a second when I see I have a Whatsapp message and open it. It is a question that I would really rather not answer right now, but they know I have read it.

Women who can't leave their hair alone, constantly with the The tugging and flicking all over the place. I was in a restaurant the other evening with Mrs E, and a couple were seated kind of close to us...the woman had her back to me on my left hand side...she proceeds to shove her chair even further back towards me and laying her head back, starts ruffling/flicking/tugging at her long hair. Fcuking hair going all over the place. And her dopey boyfriend googoo eyed looking at her.

You can turn off the setting that lets people see that you have read their messages, but you won't be able to see when someone has read yours either. Instead of the blue ''read'' ticks it just stays as two grey ones.

You can also just pull down the message when you get it so you can get a glimpse of it, rather than pressing on it so they see you have read it. You can't always read the whole message that way though.

ARE YOU FUCKING JOKING?? THAT'S DISGUSTING!
There are signs up in some areas of some hospitals which state "no mobile phones or cameras beyond this point" but no blanket ban as far as I am aware.
Although you would expect people to just have some human decency.

There are also people who think it's okay to smoke those vape/e cig things INSIDE the hospital.

Are vapes and e cigs the same thing?

Also, bitter begrudging people. I understand your life may not be how you'd like it to be at the minute but why be jealous/ annoyed at someone else's happiness? It really isn't a nice trait.

My missus was with her mam yesterday. The mam was heading off to meet a female friend of one of her other children, who she referred to as 'like the daughter I never had'.

My aunt Jemima was exactly like that. Any bitter person I meet now is a "right Jemima".

My network has stopped free texts and probably increased their call rates. The texts were really handy.I know they send a text informing you before they do it but that doesn't help. Changing networks is such a TA, the last time, they took weeks to give me a pincode and it didn't work. Ended up buying a new phone to save more hassle, and had to get a new number.
    I hate phone stuff.
