    Ultimate comfort food.

I'm waiting on roast chicken, mashed potato, carrots and marrowfat peas and gravy to be ready. I'm absolutely starved.

I had found a recipe I had torn out of a Lidl magazine ages ago, the title of it was missing but I guess it is a satay. Sauce made with coconut milk, peanut butter , soy sauce , onion , garlic, ginger, and threw in some peppers. I substituted the turkey breast with chicken. I had basmati rice and naan bread with it. So simple to make and very nice indeed.

Just had a snakey Eddie Rockets as I'm home alone and had forgotten to defrost a portion of lasagne. So the Classic burger and chips it was!

Not sure if they're the ones that Surreptitious bought but I get a big family pack in Dunness for a fiver. 50 in the pack and it contains samosa's, bhaji's and pakora's. They also do a 12 pack I think for something like €2. You'll find them in the frozen section, pink box, their own brand.

Tried the Singapore noodles a few weeks back. Very boring, but that's probably because we can actually cook!

Tell me about it! I'm back on cook books just to get it right.:D

While I'm here, tonight it's Big Al's buffalo wings with slaw, pot salad, leaves, white wine vinegar dressing and feck it - a few chips! Thai hot sauce dip for the wings. Beers too!

Dinner this eve was lazy, salad with peppers, olives and goats cheese and leftover chicken satay, didn't even bother to reheat it. Garlic bread and wine on the side :)
