Watty is the expert in respect to FTA channels. Look here for the football.
    Try reading the above FAQ's.:)

Also take a look here .
TV4 Sweden on Thor2 showed a lot of Div1 stuff in recent years.

    ANALOG (not Digibox or Digital)

    RAI sometimes has footie. 13E

Eurosport Int even has English audio option. Defalut is German. 19E

Some Arab stations sometimes show English Football. 10E and 16E. Weak but usable on 80cm dish

TV4 Sweden is ONLY PAL station on 1W. A 1m Dish in East and 1.2m dish in west. My 1m gives a very poor TV4 picture.

France1, 2, 3 etc are encrypted on Digital, but FTA on SECAM Analog at 5W. You need a Telecom LNB (or Universal with Tone on) to tune in an analog set at all, as it uses a High Band > 12GHz. Picture will be B&W on a PAL TV.

    Check www.lyngsat.com for frequecies.

By default an old Sky Analog setup will be already pointing at 19E.

    French Analog at 5W
Older ones do not have Univesal LNB or Tone generator needed for 5W. Some with replaced LNBs may have Universal LNB but no way to turn it to high band. www.satcure.co.uk sells an inexpensive 22Khz tone generator module to solder inside many Pace / Grundig / Philips Sky analog boxes. He probabily has external ones too.

Many cheap PC WinTv cards (Hauppauge etc) will decode SECAM colour on PC screen. Very few TVs in Ireland can, you get a black& white picture.
