    Hank
    in Breaking Bad. Gutted.

    Fcuk that whole episode.

Omar Little took me by surprise, that was brutal.

I think realistically though it was Jack in Titanic :o Disclaimer: I was a prepubescent male-fancying person when Titanic came out and I think Leo is very firmly lodged in the sexual psyche of a large portion of that demographic. I wore out that tape, or I wore out most of it, I wasn't able to handle him dying so I'd just stop right as they were going into the water. EVERYTHING IS FINE HE'S STILL ALIVE.

    Adriana in Sopranos.

I know she was a rat, but she was duped into being a rat, the FBI taking full advantage of her air headedness and big heart to snare her.

Paul Hennessy in 8 Simple Rules.

John Ritter took ill on the set and died shortly afterwards and the episode that deals with Paul the character dying is actually the cast also simultaneously dealing with John's death.

I loved the show (and Three's Company of course) and so that made it sad enough, but for me it effecting me more personally as when I watched those episodes (Goodbye 1 & 2) my own Dad had just died that week too. I hadn't actually even turned the TV on since I had came home from the hospital or until the funeral was over in fact and when I did, those two shows came on that night back to back.

Actually, the following three or four episodes were all about coming to terms with loss also and so they were apt timing for me anyway but hard damn work watching them.

It was horrible, i'm actually sorry I read it now. No need for the way he died at all, it was cruel I thought.

So I dried my tears and 13 year old me was happy again ..... \o/

Beeeecause he's not a fictional character.....

Quite possible there was a man called Jesus... but there are no contemporary writings to substantiate this...so the mythical being Jesus is probably just that...a myth

John Coffey in the Green Mile.

Went to watch it with a girl I fancied the pants off. Had no idea what it was about because she picked the film. Anyway, when John got the chair, I blubbed like a baby and my chances with said stunner died with him. Bastard.

Always sad when an actor dies IRL and the show has to find a way to explain their absence. I thought Glee did a good job with it when Cory Monteith died. No explanations, just honest genuine expressions of sadness at losing their friend.

Somehow I can only think of examples from children's books/films. Not sure what that says about me :p

    Charlotte in Charlotte's Web.

Charlie in All Dogs go to Heaven.

Dobby in Harry Potter is a killer too.

    Bambi's mother.

Just realised none of the above are human either :p
