UK to no longer use terms Cat A,B,C,D. Now Cat A,B,S,N

Just read that from next month, the UK are no longer using the Cat C's and D's terms.

The new units will be:

Category A – Scrap Beyond repair - to be crushed in its entirety

Category B – Break Beyond repair – Useable parts can be recycled

Category S – Structural Repairable structural damage – ‘asset owner’ chooses not to repair

Category N – Non structural Repairable non-structural damage -‘asset owner’ chooses not to repair

Makes sense.
Since they dropped a need for VIC on category C there were virtually no difference for vehicle buyer between categories C and D.
