It's that time of year when we can stop complaining about how shít the weather is and just accept that we live on a rain sodden, windswept rock in the Atlantic.

Deep blues, moody black, long scarves, candle light, walks in the dark, open fire, soft blankets, wooly socks up to my knees, exhilarating rain, bracing wind, spooky frights, warm soup, hot chocolate.

    I love winter :)

Warm coats. Pretty hats. Wooly tights and boots. New dresses. Fires. Watching movies when the rain is banging off the windows. Hot chocolate. Snowmen. Christmas. Gloves and sparkly scarves.

Hot whiskeys! Can't believe I didn't think of that.

And mulled wine. And hot ports. And mulled cider. And Christmas markets with all the delicious food.

Lighting the stove on a bitterly cold night.

Being inside a warm house looking outside at ****e weather (though in fairness we get to do this most of the year)

The rare occasions it snows heavily

I love Winter. The run up to Christmas, better TV, nicer buzz around the place, no exceptions about having good weather, dark evenings, clock going back etc It's my favorite time of year.

Join a gym then or it is possible to exercise in the morning/evening in the dark and avoid getting wet.
I can't even type the word you called Christmas.
