2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming, Video editing

4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No
5. Do you need a monitor? Yes
6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Wifi Card will be needed.
7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Yes (TBD)

-Prefer Intel to AMD and Would Like Liquid Cooling and SSD for OS.

Quick build idea.
IPS screen might be better for your non-gaming needs.
AMD should still beat Intel for video editing, even against the upcoming Coffe Lake.

Depends on how much editing you're doing but the above would be a bit too skewed towards heavy editing and not brilliant for games given the budget.

Drop CPU to a Ryzen 1600 and either ram to 16GB or SSD to a 250GB and bump the GFX to a GTX1070 or Vega 56 and you've a much better rounded gaming/editing machine for the same money.

If I'm gonna be Honest, I have got a pretty much High-end Pc At the office for Video editing. This will be my machine at home so I can do some "odd bits" not full blown projects. So Mostly Gaming.

Contrary to popular belief, you don't NEED more than 8Gb RAM for 99% of games.

Also re: monitor, your choices in the same price range are 27" 1440p 60hz, or 24" 1080p 144hz.

I personally prefer higher resolution at 60hz for the improved image quality (mostly play FPS), but some people swear on the 144hz, especially for FPS and action titles.
