Tubes of cream and steroid sprays that have to be used within 4 weeks of opening. I have to use so little of the cream that only one quarter of it, if even, will be gone by the time it is to be binned.
Similarly bags of salad that are to be used within 24 hours of opening, and a bag of dates to be used within one week. Fair enough, the salad can start looking a bit slimy very quickly, but the dates , FFS !

Someone just told me my make up "game is on point". What does that mean?!! I just kind of smiled and mumbled a thank you, was that the right response?? What is this new lingo?
Also, I actually feel about 70 years old because I don't know what this all means.

TA: I wanted to go to a certain hotel and spa that's a bit expensive and a complete treat for my birthday. Somewhere I wouldn't pay for myself or couldn't expect someone else to pay for me outside of a special occasion. Someone just tried to book it for my birthday weekend and it's not available. Distraught

TA'd at the alternate dimension that exists down the side of my car seats... Coins, notes, pens, lighters and my happiness have all disappeared into that void at some point.

*I know the same can be said of email, but the legals say its fax or nothing in their eyes.

TA that I'm old enough to remember when a fax was considered suspect and it had to be hard copy original or nothing.

It seemed to change very quickly - one day it was 'fax? no way, post us the original', the next day it was 'email? no way, but you can send us a fax'

TA that I think that there is some posts lately that are not in the spirit of the thread and being used as sneaky digs at other posters.

    Please don't do that.
I noticed that too, though it was just me. But it put me off posting on either thread for a while.

Smashed a glass in the kitchen at 4am in my bare feet with a baby under my arm. Then the dog tried to join in the fun.
I remember the days when being awake at 4am meant drinkin' or messin' :(

    Viber
My sister and I send each other videos all day long through viber. Instead of typing out a message, we'll just record a video. The reason why we do this is, a lot of what we say is in our facial expressions and little private jokes and that sort of thing so videos convey our stories better. Also, we are very close but don't live near each other so videos help us feel more part of each other's lives.
So anyway, the videos are usually less than 2 minutes as that's all the record function in viber will allow so they're not big files.
I'm TA because, for the past month, anytime I'm sending a video, I literally cannot use the internet elsewhere on my phone.
    What is up viber?!

The f*ckers who park on the same stretch of road as me, deliberately leaving just not quite enough space in between each car for another one to fit. How selfish can you be?:(

This all started in the the 1970s when the oil crisis led to the introduction of a 55mph speed-limit across most U.S. states, much to the chagrin of long-haul road hauliers, who had hitherto saved significant time and money by clocking 70mph and more in their huge trucks. So as part of evading the new enforcement by the highway patrols, truckers started using a sort of "code" language to... wait a minute, that's CB radio. Never mind...

People on shows such as a House in the Sun or any other property buying show, who decide not to buy somewhere because of the décor. "Oooh this house is the perfect size for our family to grow, it's got great views, is close to the main square/ school/ has a large garden with a pool and room for conversion etc...... but I just can't stand the colour of the bathroom walls"

I saw a property building show during the week, and the couple had a baby boy called Bieber  They looked really normal and were older as well, it was bizarre. :pac:

They only way I think that moniker could be justified is if it wasn't a planned pregnancy and the fathers baby maker was only just in....
    Ok, I'll go now.

Gatland would be a more appropriate name in some cases. Just in an out in 9.7 seconds.
