I'm afraid once the competition is closed you can't apply until there's another one.

The good news for you is that the campaigns have become more frequent and you might not have to wait too long for another campaign, if not at the end of the year then most likely early 2018.

I've done the campaign myself a few more times than I would care to admit. However its all pretty simple stuff. When it comes up, (I would say in a few months) you need to apply through public jobs site. The you will receive a series of emails. The first will be a basic questionnaire, then an aptitude test, spot the odd one out that kinda thing. Provided you have passed all the tests you will be asked to do the same test under supervision. Best advice I can give is practice your reading, hand writing and psychometric tests. Maybe some community service to add to the CV as well.
