Hi all just looking for a quick bit of advice. Is running a cat5 cable from a central location to proposed cctv points sufficent or is there any need to run a seperate flex for power? Im looking to prewire 4 to 5 cameras while im carrying out work in the house that can be installed later. Steve

If your cameras are fixed and use Poe you'll be fine with cat 5e or cat 7

To be 100% covered run out a RG59 coax as well as the Cat5.
