Depends on what you mean by jeepy car. Something offroad worthy, something huge, or anything that falls in the SUV category. Suzuki Grand Vitaras, especially 3dr versions, are quite cheap. You can pick one up with about 100k km for less than 5 grand.

Daihatsu Terios if you can find one or a Suzuki Jimny are both small 4x4s. Fiat Panda is more a small car but came with 4 wheel drive too and a more rugged version without 4 wheel drive if you just want the looks of one.

    Renault Scenic RX4 maybe.

    Peace and long life.

Don't need 4wd drive, just something to look half decent to keep up with the sportages and Kugas that are on the school run.

Is this not being a bit pathetic?

Why not try getting them to keep up with you in something like this?

Where do you think you are? You aren't looking for a car to suit your needs. So why be surprised with the responses?

A Ford C-Max 1.6 petrol which is more of a small people carrier than a "jeepy" type vehicle. Reliable engine and stylish enough design.
