I was buying some Gaggia descaler from Watermark other day when I saw they were selling 1938 Coffee beans for €4 for 250grms. Just wondering if anyone here has tried it and is it any good, I would be using it as a base for coffee drinks rather than straight espresso.

I can't imagine at €4 it's arabica beans. Might be good in sweetened iced coffee but otherwise I wouldn't even give it a sniff, for sure it's a robusta blend and probably not fresh for that price.
