Akeem Ayers cut by the Colts, he did a nice job for us 2 years ago and we need pass rush help

What is Dorsett like as kick or punt returner? Or does he even?

Never really did it for us, but can do it. He is not an Edelman replacement, he plays more like Cooks, deep ball, stretch the field type threat. I think he can blossom under a good coaching regime bc he has good skills and athletic ability. Imo he is should be a very good wr3 at least with the upside of a being a strong wr2.

I gotta be honest and say I never really rated Brisset so I like this trade. Dorsett is massively and I just know that he is going to work out in New England. Brady is going to have a lot of fun with his receiving corp this season.

I won't be coming back at you. We have different opinions on it.

Thing is that if it makes him the slightest bit miserable even for a second then its worth it for me.

Surprised at the Bolden cut. Looked like he was a lock with the contract extension only just sorted. Not that I particularly rate him, but seemed an integral part of Belichick plans. Considering he was cut, disappointed that Foster was cut too. Hopefully we keep the likes of him (if eligible again?) and Carr and Lucien to the practice squad.

As for Brissett I'm a bit surprised too (as surprised as you can get following Belichicks cuts) as we will surely have a major QB issue next off season and another year behind him would have been good safety going into next year. I didn't think a whole lot of him but that was a fine performance against the giants.

Austin Carr picked up by the Saints. Shame we couldn't get him back to PS

McCllelin put on IR and Brandon Boldin takes his place.

Tons of special teams players on the roster for Week 1...BB very wary of the Tyreek Hill threat.

That is a pity about McClellin. Did they ever disclose his injury?

    Always remember this.

Tough to be starting the season without Minitron :(, because there's no tougher competitor on the field than him. We'll also miss his leadership & motivational skills in the locker room. That said, the team will pick up the slack and Brady will adjust like he always does. Keeping him healthy remains the priority and if we do that, then we'll always be the team to beat. It would also be nice to see if Gronk could get through a full season for a change. Although I won't be holding my breath on that one.

Ayers was in for a workout. I really liked him, and he made a few quid after leaving us. A good article here from him....

We all know what happened the last time we played The Chiefs in a season opener :(. So lets hope that history doesn't go and repeat itself tonight.

Malcom Mitchell has been placed on IR, can come back in 8 weeks.

    Ted Karras takes his place.

Makes more sense of the Dorsett trade. He's already WR4

That's a bummer, he a good kid who made a connection with Brady. Hopefully he'll be back, good and fresh for the business end of the season.

They're actually going to a lot of trouble to avoid any negative press for Goodell.

Not surprising. NBC have been told not to mention the 70k Goodell clown flags and t-shirts...don't know how they'll be able to ignore it.
