My teenage son is now the same shoe size as me... this has not been a good few months for my previously pristine converse collection.

Maybe it's time to stop wearing converse???

TAed at older men wearing converse 🤣

There's a hairy black spider in the shower and I need to have one tonight. I am dreading getting rid of him.

I've done this every night so far this week. So exhausted this morning.

TA at this weather, cold, too hot, humid, raining. I don't mind the weather one way or the other but I hate the changeable weather at this time of year.
Do we ever get an Autumn? I see the nice pics from other countries, the leaves falling and that sort of thing. Here, we just have wet footpaths, soggy leaves!

I'll go back to my old trick of carrying a small handbag and put it inside the wheelie case. Problem solved

Fluff. Hand towel fibres getting onto my contact lenses and irritating my eyes. No matter how much I wash my hands and rinse my contacts, I seem to pick up tiny fibres or particles of dust.

From what I quickly read on Irish times the wheelie bags have to go in the hold at the boarding gate now

When I Google search a book, it's always the Amazon.com rather than .UK result that appears on the first results page unless I specify. Why Google, why?

Are you searching with google.ie or .com? I always get Amazon UK results above .com but use regionalised google.

I was just putting an elastic band on a bundle of documents and it broke and pinged away from me and went flying past someone's head, I shouted out "Argh careful flyaway rubber band!!" and that someone then turned to me and said "be fucking careful". SERIOUSLY?? IT'S A FUCKING RUBBER BAND, NOT A THROWING STAR. AND ALSO, THEY HAVE A FUCKING MIND OF THEIR OWN.

Someone just dropped in tea cakes. Oh sweet baby Jesus. I really did not need to know what these tasted like. Think I'm already a stone heavier.

Have you tried snowballs yet? Them and tea cakes are a dangerous but beautiful combo.

So one of my IV antibiotics is different than my usual because the one I usually have is in short supply, the factory burned down. I was given enough by the hospital to cover me for the weekend as I waited for my pharmacy to get the rest in, usual story. Then my pharmacy tell me the delivery will be delayed and I can't miss a dose so I went to the hospital and got enough for today as the delivery is supposed to be in by now. My pharmacist rings me and tells me that it is in but he has to wait two weeks to get it approved on my long term illness card or else I will have to pay three and a half grand for it! I ring my CF nurse and she is like what is he talking about, most people with CF are on it at the moment because of the shortage, it is on your LTI card. Ring back the pharmacist and he just repeats what he said earlier. He gave me enough for a couple of doses of IVs but if I open the box I have to pay 400 euro. My god, the hassle every time I am on IVs,usually I am not made to pay this much though, I feel like I am in America!
