Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Semple Stadium - which stand?

    Am going to the Under 21 hurling final in Thurles on Saturday and want to get tickets in the same stand in which they present the trophy. However, I can't figure out which one that is.
    As many times as I have been to Semple Stadium, I still get the two stands mixed up! Can anyone help me out?

    You need to go to the Old Stand or Ardan O Coinneain.
    The New Stand is Ardan O Riain.
    Hope you're a Limerick supporter if you need to be there for the presentation 😀😉😉😉

    This is completely incorrect. The trophy gets presented in the New Stand (Ardan O Riain) and so this is the stand he needs to be in.

    Does it really matter? If you're in the opposite stand just make your way across the pitch after full time. Stewards won't stop you.

    Trophy will be presented in the new stand, Ardan O Riain as mentioned above, but you can cross the pitch if you are in the other stand. I personally prefer the old stand.

    The trophy gets presented in the new stand. The old stand has actually been updated since the new stand and therefore should now be called the new stand but that would be just confusing things!!
