    Is Gotham any use ?

    Is Gotham any use ?

It's a mixed bag for me. Some episodes are great, some just mediocre. Season 1 was decent enough, halfway through S2 and it's a bit of a slog. Will stick it out because I hear S3 is better.

Enjoyed Bates Motel seasons 1-4 far more, hopefully S5 arrives soon.

Looking forward to Stranger Things second season, as well as Star Trek Discovery, which will hit Netflix over the next few weeks.

Really enjoyed Ozark. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Breaking Bad

One of my favourite shows. Bare in mind it isn't about batman which alot of people assume. I love the fact how it gives a back story to the characters like riddler, penguin, ivy,Selina etc become the villians that we read in comics or seen in the movies. Gives you an insight into why Bruce became Batman. Get to see the parts of Gotham that aren't really shown in the batman films

Arrived onto Netflix last week from the director of 'Tucker and Dale Vs.Evil'..

'Little Evil', a comedy-horror that's never laugh-out-loud funny. Though has a fairly solid first half.. absolutely terrible second half!

Adam Scott watchable as always though!

Had actually just finished rewatching Breaking Bad when I watched the first episode of Ozark. Really felt like a poor mans version at the time and haven't gone back to it since. Hearing mostly good things though so I'll give it another go. Watched atypical and doctor foster in past couple of weeks. Both were enjoyable in their own ways

Hadn't realised that was the Ducker and Dale guy, will definitely give it a chance so.

Gotham is... OK. It's a mixed bag between unbelievable overacting; Ben McKenzie can chew scenery when he wants to, and quite shocking violence (there's some episodes in Season 2 that came quite close to Game of Thrones-lite. Then there's Jada Pinkett Smith, who plays Fish Mooney.
When she returned in the later part of season 2/I realised she would be a main character in Season 3
    is when I stopped watching.

Ozark is fairly poor, anyone putting it in the same breath as breaking bad needs to take a look at themselves.

Tbf, many would say that Breaking Bad didn't really become essential viewing until after the first couple of seasons. I enjoyed the first season of Ozark and it has the potential to develop into something more interesting - the problem is that a lot of Netflix series tend to fizzle out after the first season or two.

Brilliant. Really enjoyed it the quicker pace of this season. On to El Chapo next I think.

I think he meant people who enjoyed Breaking Bad would enjoy it because of its similar themes.

    I really liked Ozark too.

I find there's too many episodes so I'm finding it hard to return to as it feels like it's going to be a slog to complete.

I did watch start watching it when it first aired so I was watching one a week. That is the main reason I haven't watched breaking bad or gone back the walking dead which I stopped watching around series 3

El Chapo is great too. These drug cartel series make great entertainment. It's so far away from anything 99.9999999% of us have ever experienced, we love to look into it.

How long do you reckon you'd last and how high up the ladder could you get? :)

Get in. Make a statement of intent. Earn a ton of cash over a year or two and disappear. :)

Ended up watching The Mist, just to pass the time, TV has been crap, nothing decent on Netflix till November when The Crown returns.

"Timeless" Season 1 has popped up on Netflix; something for anyone who's a sucker for Time Travel like myself. Has its flaws, but still enjoyable enough...
