Renault Trafic stop light issue

    Hi
    Can anyone help me.

    I have a 2004 Renault Traffic 2.5 diesel, and sthe stop light wont go out and she will not start.

    We have tried susconnecting battery over night and still wouldnt start.

    We have checked key with specialist and key us fine.

    She ahows no faults on computer.

    The computer man thinks ita a wiring issue.


    Im in donegal. Can anyone advice some one to look at it.

    Check the brake light switch..some cars wont start if the brake pedal is depressed..also check the clutch switch..same thing..

    Thanks for reply.

    Would these switchs not show up as a fault on computer. I had two boys plug i to laptop. And both showed no fault.

    They thought it moght be a broken wire.

    It wouldnt show up because its not a fault if the switch has become dislodged from the mount...the switch might be still working the stop lights
