Ta'ed a tiny tiny upset from yesterday, is still upsetting me today, such a waste of energy when there are so many more nb things to deal with.

Housemate turned off the dryer while she ate dinner cos she doesn't like the noise. Then she forgot to turn to turn it back on. Nice damp clothes for me this morning.

Few days before housemate took clothes out of washing machine and instead of putting them into dryer like I always do for her, put them wet into the wash basket. So they say there a day getting manky smelling

The number of people in town is just f*cking maddening. Where did they all come from? What are they doing? The shops are empty but the streets are full. Do they not have jobs? I wish I worked in a barren and empty industrial estate.

And I find you have to let them dry and rewash them to properly get the manky smell out of the clothes.
My husband used to leave clothes in the washing machine for days and then they'd be nearly dry so he'd just put them straight on. Vomit.

Was eating a pack of malteasers and had the last one ate before i realised it. I didn't even get to appreciate it. Also my fuel gauge in my car is broken, can't remember when I last filled it either. Do I refuel? Or do I live on the edge..

An egg cupful of white vinegar added to the wash will go a long way in eliminating the bad odour. I can't help with your husband though😊

I don't like 2fm, the presenters are very poor in my opinion. I used to enjoy it and the presenters, maybe 8-10 years ago, but it has taken a huge nose dive for me.

Does anyone else think this is the longest week ever?

I tried listening to 2FM a couple of years ago when driving along.

About 4 minutes into it, the DJ started going on that "I'd say that Putin is gas craic altogether, pure maaaaad". That was that for me.

I was TAed that day because of the sheer...MORON... of it all.

The dishwasher is on its second full load and there are still another full load to go into it!!

The builders here at the house are great. The blocklayers are done. They were great - really nice guys. The carpenters are in for the first fix. Two nice guys very quick at their work but FFS they are messy. I'm not talking about work messy I'm talking about food wrappers, drinks bottles and cans just tossed around the yard even though there are two wheelie bins right in the middle of the site. They walk past them multiple times an hour!

Another building (er) related TA. The use of a con saw beside a line of dry washing. HELLO I'm in the house just knock on the window and say were about to start up the con saw. No problem I'll grab the washing.

I'm TA'ed because in order to say something nice about this thread, I have to be TA'ed about something, so I'm TA'ed about that.

I think this is the best thread on boards.
It makes me laugh and cheers me up to no end ...........

Beyond TA'ed at ppl who have expect me to be able to do things with a computer that I have no experience or idea of how to do, then have an attitude when I say "I cant or "I dont know how". Even tho is a mantra with said person.

More of a rant than TA,
In response to car damage and child endangerment from rat running in my old estate, the relevant cll has closed off part of the road AFTER what was laughingly called consultation. This was the least favored option of the handful put forward. Unsurprisingly causing mayhem on all the roads in are area.

TATATA, the amount of ppl sending abusive messages on all platforms to the residents association and protest group. Is it that hard to grasp that just cause it put THEM out, that anger should be directed to the cll and not the ppl sitting in traffic with them. Is it any wonder ppl dont protest anything, when this is what they get in return.

I didn't have dinner as I wasn't mad hungry at the time and couldn't think of anything I fancied. If someone had put something up in front of me it would have been ideal. Now I am tired and hungry, still don't know what I want, and really not arsed to make anything. I don't want a takeaway, I don't want beans on toast. Fcukity fcuk :(

I came home after a woeful fcking day and this cnt of a neighbour on his bike says to me, oh I hear your car for the last four years making this funny noise, I know a 'mechanic'. The mechanic he knows is one of the local junkies hanging about the place btw. I told him I visit a registered mechanic, my car has its NCT and I said if it was that bad four years ago how is it still driving fine today. He went off laughing with his toothless grin. Am I supposed to justify myself to these losers who drink cans and take coke openly out on the street all day. If I had a big strong bloke with me he would have said nothing.

TA'd that my local pharmacy, where the staff are consistently lovely, wanted to charge me €96 for a medicine. I made a few calls and one of the chain pharmacies said the exact same medicine would be €74. Some people would be TH about that saving but I genuinely want to support smaller businesses and hadn't realised (because I don't get that much medicine) that the pharmacy industry seems to be just like the shop/supermarket industry with the big players gradually squeezing out all the small ones by substantial price undercutting.

With price differences like this, however, it's just not justifiable to keep my account with the smaller pharmacy (to claim the tax and health insurance back at the end of the year it's handy to stick with a single pharmacy). If every other sector of society replicates retail, we'll each be working for some massive conglomerate in a couple of decades and small independent businesses will be all but dead. Not good.

Spending ages ironing on labels to my son's clothes and my friend said you can get a wash proof pen to just simply write. Feeling really annoyed now.

hehe. That brings back very distant memories! I'm from a huge family and one of my older brothers was "going on to be a priest" (didn't exactly work out but sin scéal eile!) so he was the only one who got sent away to private boarding school and my Mam used to have to sew his name label onto all his clothes.

The wash proof pens don't work as well as the labels ;)

TA trying to lodge money at the bank.

i often lodge money at the ATMS they have with the slots for lodging notes, but they often reject the notes as ''uncounted'' and spit them back out at me. i then try to straighten out the notes, pondering if im putting too much in at once and try again, maybe putting them in in smaller bunches. this works sometimes.

its up and down. makes you flustered when a queue is building and the machine isnt cooperating.
