Using this converter with a dimmer switch

    Could anybody please tell me how this converter would behave if I connected it to a wall dimmer? Is there a chance I could damage either the converter or the dimmer switch? It is to power some LED lights on a kitchen unit. They work fine plugged into a socket but I already have a power supply on top of the unit connected to a wall dimmer (rated for LED).

    I would not try it. Usually it has it marked on the driver, you could try googling the specs to see.

    Thanks for the reply. I think I might have blown the dimmer switch in connecting another light. It doesn't dim now; just turns on and off. So, I suppose I'd be good go use this one now? It's essentially just an kn/off switch now?
