Attendance was 14,623 at T-Mobile Arena. That's not a sellout at this configuration, but there didn't seem to be many empty seats, either.
Canelo-Chavez drew 20,500 at T-Mobile Arena. Floyd-Conor had 14,623, but the arena was configured for fewer seats tonight.

There are 48 other boxers including there coaches thinking how the **** is an a amature boxer land more punches then there own boxers who they have been training since kids.

Time for a review of boxing

actually they're probably showing them this is what happens when you don't properly prepare and run out of stamina early. If any boxer tried to do exactly as McGregor they'd probably be brain damaged from the amount of punches they'd take after they run out of energy.

    Conor via KO-TKO
Quick post and last post in here.

Floyd the far superior boxer. It was delusional for anyone to think otherwise and I was very much delusional.

    Congratulations to Floyd.

Conor 111/430 by compubox. The bets on punches landed were paid out by compubox numbers. He outlanded Pacquiao, Berto (including power punches) and had a higher % landed than Canelo - regardless of whatever you say about "being allowed to punch him". For the record, anyone who think Floyd allowed Conor to time that uppercut in round 1 is delusional themselves.

Conor's jab was impressive given he doesn't have one in MMA.

I've got tremendous respect for what Conor did in there. Even if we agree Floyd coasted rounds 1-3, he was walking Conor down from round 4 and it still took him 6 rounds to get rid of him, and even then the stoppage was garbage. Conor never hit the deck and he didn't quit.

Enjoy the victory, enjoy relishing in his defeat.

If he didn't earn your respect in there, you're doing it wrong.

Been a priviledge, good luck guys.

I'm only relishing in his defeat in the sense I just made a lot of money from the fight. It was always a joke fight in my eyes and I don't disrespect Conor at all. He did great to get such a good pay day. If anyone should be ashamed it's mayweaher for
    a) taking the fight in the first place
    b) being such a coward in his tactics in the first 3 rounds.

Anyway fair play wonder. Despite it all I have enjoyed your posts.

Seems like the MMA forum guys can't handle a bit of good natured slagging/ banter. Throwing their toys out of the parm with silly bans.

I wasn't trollingI had a post with my winning bet deleted and in a second post was being complimentary to conor but questioning his lack of roadwork, that was deleted too!
Why were my posts deleted? Outlaw pete was over here demanding to see bet slips pre fight and I posted mine publicly? wtf?

McGregor making a royal fool of himself on ESPN now, saying that he just had a "dip" and is just "wobbly" sometimes, and then at round 11 and 12 he "comes back better than ever" if only the referee had allowed it to go on. The cringe...

omg... "it felt like amateurs, that's like something you'd see in the amateurs"... he literally just said that about stopping the fight.

think you'll find he is in fact a professional in an athletic discipline, a pro boxer aswel actually once he picks up his cheque tonight if you want to be pedantic about it, your guy won, just enjoy it and forget the bitter bs for a bit :D:D

Piece of piss, never even left second gear, don't even think he broke sweat.

As expected I suppose, handy win.

As expected, light work for Floyd. Conor to his credit started well but it was to be expected given his desire for the early KO and Floyd's trademark sit back and wait to exploit period. That uppercut looked nice but Conor simply doesn't have the power for Boxing.

Didn't think Conor would gas so early and so hard. Cardio really is very poor with the man. His punch technique is piss poor and all the signs of an amateur boxer. Those slaps, paws and patters from about round three on were a little bizarre. I'd love to know the behind the scenes in the training camp and what was actually done besides the evident weight work.

It was refreshing to see the Pretty Boy Floyd era Floyd stand in front of his man and walk him down all fight although he shouldn't get too much credit for standing in front of an amateur. Still, nice little throwback. Methodical break down once he knew that his power was nothing special at all.

Had a quick gawk around the threads. Unsurprisingly the Conor diehards who were spouting how Boxing fans would eat their words and that they'd hold their hands up if Conor lost are either nowhere to be seen or heard or else are making ridiculous excuses and trying to paint this as a win for Conor. I guess I'm just jealous because of his money though right? Although Boxing is consistently on the rise it's never been more apparent that most people have no clue about the sweet science. To be fair the complete diehards are a minority and the MMA forum has a tonne of sound posters. It's great to have our forum back though.

Look forward to seeing Conor back in the Octagon where he belongs. Hopefully he goes off the radar for a while and let this Boxing fad he has die its death. Think he'll take the rest of the year off but I'd expect a Nate Diaz trilogy fight early next year.

Hats off to Floyd, 50-0 looks tasty on paper. I do sincerely hope he f*cks off now and never returns to fight in the ring. What a fighter though. Freakishly gifted athlete but his discipline, ability to adapt and change his style mid fights and mid career is mind blowing. He'll be studied till the end of time. I do hope he becomes a trainer though once his promotional joint is gone past the early development days which it's in now. Guys like him, Hopkins and Ward need to share their unparalleled genius and knowledge with the next generation.

Now that that's over I'm already getting excited with the thought of Canelo/Golovkin and possibly Rigo/Lomachenko at the end of the year. Been a monstrous year for the sport.

Conor doesn't lay a finger on a prime Floyd with his mind fully on the job, the same Floyd facing Manny, Canelo, Cotto etc etc.

111 punches (110 pillow jabs and 1 pillow uppercut) and not a bead of sweat on Floyd. He had the time and peace of mind to show off to the camera sitting on his stool between rounds ffs.

Call it as you wish sir. Discussion goes both ways. As Money Mayweather said. "If you give it you must be able to take it. If McGregor had won, the slagging from MMA fans would be serious. but enjoyable all the same. Nothing wrong with a bit of banter in sport.

To the victor goes to spoils and the bragging rights, It's a shame the sensitive MMA fan can't take it.

Does have a point. If the unspeakable actually happened we'd have to sit here and take the abuse and LOLs and rightly so imo. Chat sh*t get banged and all that.

When you go post the same long winded comment goading other posters on two threads in the same forum its trolling. If you disagree feel free to appeal it..i think we both know you wont though.
