Let's see if Floyd keeps his word and hops into the cage with Conor.

    Yeah right!

It was great to see them both giving each other such respect after the fight. Classy.

No doubt, but you'd expect a champion to have dismissed a novice much earlier.

In fairness he's a champion MMA amateur boxer and he's fighting a retired version of Mayweather. Not exactly comparing apples to apples there.

Hes not a champion, hes 40 years old and has been retired 2 years. He was playing with Mcgregor from the very beginning. Could have finished far earlier. Mcgregor looked so slow and barely had any power.

    Totally one sided as expected.

That was a prime Mayweather. And to be fair he could have finished Conor in the 4th if he wanted. Conors has f**k all stamina.

    Bla bla

    The sweet science :)

Floyd barely broke a sweat and Conor landed nothing that had any effect.

Mayweather carried him that's pretty obvious in my eyes, could have finished it much earlier, sure he didn't throw any punches for 3 rounds. Went exactly as i expected and also proves McGregor hasn't the power some believe in boxing terms he had no power.

Is that the final straw or do you have more to clutch?

Why would he? He just let Conor tire himself out and then enjoyed himself against someone who couldn't land with any power.

Boxing is in trouble if that's it's best fighter. Seriously a guy who has never even fought a pro boxing match before went 10 rounds!!! WTF??

Everyone and his dog was telling me Mayweather would destroy him what hell happened?

At this stage i wouldn't say Mayweather is the best fighter in boxing for me that's Lomachenko

Floyd could have won it whenever he wanted tbh. He barely threw a punch in the first few rounds because he knew McGregor's best hope was to land a big bomb early.

I do give Conor credit for landing some punches in those rounds because many experts predicted he wouldn't land any, but when Floyd brought out his power there was only going to be one winner.

Credit also to Conor for showing heart and fighting to the last but I think the ref stepped in at the right time.

Credit to Conor, for the variance that exists in the two sports Mayweather should have had him out of their a lot sooner.

To go 10 rounds with one of the greatest boxers of all time is some achievement, roles reversed Conor would take him in one round.

Round of Applause, Lasted longer against a 40 year old man who had not boxed for 2 years ........., whereas at least Hatton rocked Mayweather for a brief period in their fight. Well done Conor, you have entertained us for over half a year with this fight, onwards and upwards, no one is going to mouth off at him on the UFC podium, but let us call a spade a spade, Mayweather could have finished this a lot earlier

    I'm not clutching at anything

Conor lost. I have been watching the build-up for months where world champions from all weight classes said Conor wouldn't land a punch. Not one punch.

What does that say about boxing if a guy with no experience lands so many punches against the p4p no 1?

Amazing how little cardio Mcgregor has for a high level athlete.

Good point. Want expecting him to him but look at the weight he came in at could hardly lift his arms. Then got sucked in to running out of gas early. This allowed Floyd to put on a show.
