I thought the end was going to be like the time MR. Bean crashed into the truck full of pillows!

Point him in the direction of the footage as the BMW driver could become cüñtîśh down the line and try and claim against the van driver

I will be he's only a small operator and I know insurance issues with a truck can seriously hit the bottom line

In what world didnt he take pics/call the Gardai.

A pic will show the car between the yield sign and the truck cab, in what scenario would the truck be at fault ever ?

Looks like they both got back in their respective vehicles and went on their merry way, perhaps agreeing there and then that it was the BMW's fault, and given the size of the truck I'd say damage to it was next to non existent, therefore no need to delay any further!

But nothing to stop the BMW driver chancing his arm down the line with a retrospective claim, perhaps trying to say the truck fled the scene or something to that effect!

i'm not so sure. If the car driver claimed the trucker changed lanes without indicating that same pic could tell a different story. I wouldn't have shrugged it off so casually.

But a picture says a thousand words. Surely worth 30 seconds of your time especially if you are in the right. ;)

Maybe the truck has its own camera system. They are getting very popular, 3 cameras, one looking out the front and one down each side. I hope so in this case anyway.

So turns out the truck and car didn't have any contact but just managed to avoid a collision by inches. The car was a left hand drive

    Wtf?
There could have been a kid on a bike or people walking on that footpath and it looks like the bush blocks her view.
I'd be having a strong word with her if I lived on that estate. Was she drunk?
Some people need to understand that how they drive could kill.

As a non bike rider- that must be some buzz doing that speed on a relatively clear and straight road.
