Now about rotation. I persist that chances are we'll see more and more of it in the future as long as the PL money continue to flow like crazy.
We see more and more bigger squads in terms of quality players. So not only they have to be played sometimes but it'll make the league more and more competitive. In addition, the big teams have an increasingly tough challenge when it comes to European competition when you see the current level of Real, Bayern, Juve, Borussia, Barça and the ambitions of PSG.

Finally, the PL has become the league of the managers (Klopp, Guardiola, Mourinho, Conte, Pochettino, Koeman... Wenger's still there) and they all wish to prove their value on several competitions (Klopp reached the EL final 2 years ago, Mourinho won it last year ; Wenger despite all the criticisms won 3 FA Cup in the last 4 years ; Conté won the league in his first season managing the Blues). So I've no doubt they'll manage their squad accordingly and thus use rotation. We've already seen Klopp & Guardiola. Wenger & Mourinho to a lesser extent. Conté talked about it recently.

    We're gonna have to adapt.

There has always been rotation. Ferguson always rotated he usually had 4 strikers , benitez was always at it. City had 4 strikers and rotated.

Damn you Pep.Sane on the bench. For once I didn't do any last second tinkering with my team so it's Lukaku as captain. Have Kane anyway so that fear is tempered a bit.

Aguero tweets before the game that he's ready for the game. Isn't named, doesn't take part in warm-up. Is my captain

Probably means he has his six pack and tortilla chips ready

    😅

    KDB starting deep enough.

KDB is probably the only guaranteed starter of the city attackers, but if he doesn't deliver today, he's gone from my team.

So I wildcarding for this gameweek. Thinking over and back between Lukaku and Aguero.. Decide to take Aguero and Kane, no Lukaku.

Check the team news just now, see that Aguero isn't starting

    ........................................

Then realise that after having Kane set in stone as my captain I changed it last night to Aguero [possibly while in a drunken stupor :pac: ]

    Foster
    Lowe, Stephens, Jones
    Pogba, Ritchie, Tadic, Alli
    Lukaku, Aguero (c), Firmino

    Elliot, Carroll, Suttner, Long

Captain Kun benched. No Kane. This is gonna hurt.

Were Ronaldo & Gerrard rotated like Aguero & Coutinho?

Yep, I'd rather have a player more likely to get points even if he doesnt always start

Well I got rid of Stones and just in time. City defense in tatters as usual and Stones not even on the field.

Cracking goal but somebody should be closing him down.

Danilo bitched out of blocking that big time. Embarrassing
