How much is a reasonable amount to bet on this fight
4 to 1 for mayweather to win is essentially free money. Thinking of putting two grand on. Anyone else going big.

You're looking to bet 2 grand and are simultaneously asking what's a reasonable bet to put down?! What planet are you on?! It's one or the other. You either 'know' yourself what's a sensible bet or you don't bet that kind of money on the strength of advice off guys on a forum.

    Floyd via DQ

Will I give him some credit if he is the first man to drop Floyd cleanly? Sure but so will everyone. It still won't change the fact he lost. Win = win, Lose = Lose. Black and white. If he loses, he wasn't good enough.

Can you say the same if Conor wins?

He is a novice boxer, that's the crucial difference.
If Conor somehow does win, I will acknowledge i was wrong- I did the same when Joshua beat Klitschko. I really don't see how he does, though. I actually have to disagree with you on one further point, if Conor isn't outclassed, if he makes the fight competitive, i will give him a lot of credit for that, but like i said i don't see that happening.

Might be a stupid question but is there any rule in boxing to prevent McGregor using MMA techniques e.g. Spinning backfist, Superman punch ??

a legal boxing blow must be landed between the first and second knuckles of each finger. A backfist lands with (at best) the knuckles to the back of the hand and is thus a deliberately illegal blow.

Only minutely funny if said person gained money by backing the opposite side. Obviously people shouting "free money" are being a little silly but laughing at people losing money on a bet is a bit odd tbh.

I think mayweather knocks mcgregor the **** out within a few rounds.

I put on as much money as I was ready to lose on it because id be incredibly surprised if mcgregor lasts a few rounds, even one round to be fair.

Am I willing to put my kids college fund on it or my house on it of course not cause **** happens in sport. Mc Gregor could get as lucky as that little **** bellew.

Anyway free money no, but it's definately massive value for money odds wise as people are buying into the mc Gregor machine which makes no sense at all.

For what it's worth I'd like to see mcgregor win. He won't though.

Don't care what anyone says....McGregor must be feeling nervous inside as I'm sure Flyod is aswell, even though he's been in situations like this before

Does Floyd look nervous? Not a hope. He knows, Conor knows, everybody actually knows.
