I listened back just to hear her:o

She's not the worst. Her slot can be quite entertaining; it's a fair bit livlier than most of what happens on SOR's show when you're plodding away at work.

Agree there, can be a bit o t t for sure and every male seems to be some kind of a stallion for some reason!

She seems to get a fair bit of a fizz up in her descriptions, but as you say blows some of the dust off the more mundane content of the show.

In small doses. I would suggest.

Read over the first sentence there again, Brendan.

Can't see anything too 'wrong ' about it.

    What is your point Joe?

Sorry Brendan. I read it on the phone with no glasses.

I thought you were saying, "For every mare there's a stallion" and typed "male" instead of "mare".

No worries Joe, it's just that every male she meets , well, not to put a tooth in it, seems to get a bit of a 'batter' up with her.

Some of them are surely 43/30 lads carrying a bit of lumber?

Not all 'French Lieutenants' surely,as she seems to imply.

    "No future, no life".

I think Ruth should use that as her campaign slogan for her next election.

I like Cormac but his interrupting at this stage is just ridiculous. He needs to seriously back off and give people a chance.

This is why I could never return to that dump Ireland, it's a beatiful country but socially it's

A Society of extremely rich, and low class dole scrounging scum who just get everything for free.

I enjoy the Paddy O'Gorman segments but they are far too short. He is very entertaining in the midst of other serious stuff. Should be on for longer or maybe more often.

Slightly OT but I notice Dobbo is gone missing and Sharon is doing the 6.01 and 9.00 news.

Yeah I noticed that too Joe. He's about to start a new job on Morning Ireland, so I suspect he's either taking whatever holidays are due to him, or doing some media training for radio, or learning the ropes of their procedures.

What a frustrating interview regarding the Liffey boardwalk. Cormac spent way too much time arguing with his two guests, as if they'd invented what they'd seen there. Does he never walk in the city centre? Anyone with a working pair of eyes will tell you that the city centre is full of undesirables. His "shock" at the texts which came in was quite wearing.

Cormac is, if the Mods will indulge me - a complete pain in the erse.

He needs to be waterboarded, then forced to write out, ten thousand times - "The Today with Sean O'Rourke Show is NOT meant to be a pulpit for me to inform the nation what I think about things."

Back in the 90s he had his own programme, Queueing for a Living, absolutely fantastic. What we get on SOR now is only a fraction of what we used to get. Paddy is just pure brilliance
