All the single ladies

So I joined a dating site
All looked good loads of messages of introduction
But you got to pay to reply to them
Fair enough , so I did

Chatted away to a few nice ladies
    But noticed a strange trend
One place where about 80% of the introduction messages where coming from
    Stonybatter wicklow

    Looked it up
Nothing on google maps for it
It must be a tiny village full of single ladies
    Whooo woooo

Bit more digging and they all seem to have one pic and very little info

    So I'm wondering ??
Is this code for people who don't want their hometown listed ?

    So I message them
    I message them all

    So far nothing

Does this magical place exist ?

I'd recommend renaming it, just to avoid confusion.

Mr Fool, you have been scammed. The ladies don't really exist. They are "bots"

Message them and post the results here.

That's a code for one of the Swingers outfits in Kinsale. No good will come of it, I'll warrant. Run, boy. Run as fast as you can, and don't stop 'til you reach the sea.

"Red hats are from cork" "i like maths. I likw people?"

That profile reads like an Ann & Barry book.

It's more like an ELIZA, and not a particularly sophisticated one.

I always wondered what type of person fell for dating site scams.

What's worse with these apps is when someone joins it using their Facebook or even just their phone number, it scans their Contacts/Friends list and messages everyone in it.

I've had 3 text messages from people in the last month telling me they'd signed up to whatever site and I should too.

Yeah but the person has to allow it to send those messages to you in fairness.

True, but how many people alter the default permissions or uncheck things when there's that big Next button waiting to be pressed.

    It doesn't exist
    In Wicklow anyway
But all the fake profiles are registered from there must be a loop hole
So you can't search that area

But surely the website should notice this

Its the website themselves that are putting the profiles on there to begin with. If you look at the details for the site I would imagine they are American owned hence the lack of local knowledge.
